La Pine Academy Of Dance Arts began an “Elite Team” in 2004. Students that are a part of our Elite Team are specifically chosen based on their ability level, attitude, dedication, character and passion for dance. The Elite Team is not open to everyone. We are very proud of our Elite Team for their many awards they have won over the past 3 years. Being a part of the Elite Team is something all students should look forward to. It is such a great experience.

Sally Finneran- Sally is an award winning soloist. She is trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop and Pointe. She has a great personality and is a lot of fun to be around. She is always willing to help out.

Kymi Winchell- Kymi is full of life! She is an experienced “Fence Jumper” and loves to dance. She has a great ability to express her passion for dance to whoever has the privilege of watching her. Kymi is trained in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Tumbling and Pointe.

Anna Stone- Anna is a graceful dancer. She is a very sweet person, always thinking of others before herself. She is an inspiration to all. Anna loves to dance. Anna is a very good helper. Anna is trained in Ballet and Tumbling. This year she will take part in our Pointe class.

Krista McMurrian- Krista has worked very hard this year. She is enthusiastic and willing to learn. She is a lot of fun to be around and has a great smile! This is Krista’s first year on our Elite Team. Welcome aboard!

Ashlee Horn- Ashlee is a very hard worker. She is determined, bright and creative. She is an award winning soloist. She is trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tumbling and Pointe. She is a very sweet person. Her favorite color is orange!

Ian Lewis- Ian is brand new to the world of dance! Every now and then you have the priviledge of "discovering new talent, and this year, Ian is it! Ian, who is a first year team member has worked his way to the top, gaining the status of "Senior Team Member". Under the careful direction of Miss April, Ian is already assisting in three Hip Hop classes. He is caring, responsible and is very gifted with kids.

Ryan Fogel- Ryan is a very special person. She is sensitive to the needs of others and is always kind. She is very funny and has a great sense of humor. She is a very experienced Hip Hop dancer and we want to welcome her to our team!

Carlye Tabuyo- Carlye is our captian this year. She really puts forth her utmost effort for the team. She is fun and full of life! She is more than willing to help out. She has been trained in Hip Hop for many years and this year was named our “ Studio Dancer Of The Year 2007”.

Caleigh Holbrook- Caleigh is a very determined young lady. She has been in Hip Hop for many years and was awarded a full ride scholarship from Miss April in 2005 for her outstanding commitment to the Arts. Caleigh is very sweet and has a good sense of humor.

Rachel Schneider- Rachel is a great Hip Hop dancer and student. She was named the “Hip Hop Student Of The Year” in 2006. She is very hardworking and dedicated to our team. She is very fun to be around and is friendly to everyone.

Kindi Irvin- Kindi is a great dancer. You can tell when she is dancing that she is having a great time. Kindi has been in Hip Hop since she was very young. Kindi has a big family and is very patient with others. Kindi is very sweet.

Kayla Jones- Kayla has been dancing most of her life! She is a Hip Hop artist and an award winning soloist. Kayla is a very strong person and always tries her best. Kayla loves to dance and it shows!

Kindi Irvin- Kindi is a first year member and even though she is the smallest on the team, watch out because she doesn't hold back! She always has a smile on her face and is very committed!

Dani Schneider- Dani is always on time, always respectful and always practices! She has been a welcome asset to our team. Her smile lights up the room and she is more than willing to learn new things!

Eli Matteson- Eli joins our team this year as an established competition dancer. Eli takes Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet and Theater. Eli is full of life, energy and fun! Eli is extremely committed and dedicated to the Arts and wishes to make a career out of it later on.

Taylor Wyse- Taylor is a very hard worker. She brings with her years of Hip Hop, Tap and Jazz. Taylor is an example to all. She has a positive attitude and if she falls, she gets right back up again. Taylor is also full of Hip Hop attitude! What a great kid!

Sarianne Harris- Sarianne is a gorgeous ballerina! She is extremely graceful and has an elegance about her when she dances. She always knows her choreography and was named,"Senior Ballet Student of The Year", last year. She is very serious about her ballet studies and is an absolute joy to work with.

Alleya Harris- Alleya is a first year pointe student and is extremely determined. She does not give up and always works hard at what she loves. She has the most beautiful arch that I have ever seen in any student or collegue! She was named the "Junior Ballet Student of The Year", last year and continues to prove why she was chosen!
